皆さんの可能性を信じて
私たち立教経営が掲げる「Sustainable Value Creation」というメッセージは、立教経営の決意を表す言葉であり、学生の皆さんに贈るエールの言葉です。
現代ではさまざまな技術革新によって、社会の仕組みや企業のあり方に大きな変化が起きています。ビジネスの基盤である資本主義というシステムも例外ではありません。かつてのように株主の利益だけを追求するのではなく、従業員や取引先、地域社会、さらには地球環境の利益にも配慮すべきだという声が高まっているのです。こうした新しい経営のカタチを学問し、持続可能な社会の実現に貢献すること。それが立教経営の価値であり、またその価値を持続的に提供し続けることが私たちの使命だと考えています。
激しい変化の時代、これは大きなチャンスです。皆さんが持続可能な未来を実現していく、皆さんこそが社会を変えていくのです。それには何よりも自分の無限の可能性を花開かせることがカギです。私たちは皆さんを全力でサポートし、一人ひとりのリーダーシップを引き出すお手伝いを最大限行います。
共に胸躍るような4年間を創り上げましょう。

"Sustainable Value Creation" presents our determination and encouragement to our students at the College of Business.
The world today is driven by various technological innovations toward rapid and radical changes in society and business. The economic system, most of which is capitalism, is no exception. There is a growing call for companies to consider the interests of multiple stakeholders, namely, their employees, business partners, local communities, and even the global environment, moving away from the mere pursuit of shareholder interests. We strive and thrive to study and propose new forms of management and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. That is the value and the mission of the College of Business.
Drastic change is a great opportunity. You, our students, are the ones to realize a sustainable future, and you are the ones to change society. The point is to flourish your unlimited potential. We will do our best to support and help you develop your leadership capabilities.
