Ms. Hoshiyama’s Comment

I am honored to have won second prize in the Excel section of the 2024 MOS Japan National Championship. During my fourth year at university, I independently began learning Microsoft application skills to develop practical computer competencies valuable both in Japan and internationally. I am deeply grateful to have my efforts and achievements recognized in this way.

Since earning the qualification, I have had various opportunities to deliver English presentations and provide explanations to international audiences. These experiences—gained while studying abroad in Slovenia through a university exchange program and now as a recent graduate working at a financial institution—have demonstrated the practical benefits of these skills. They have enabled me to create clear and impactful documents effectively. I believe that the process leading to this honorable achievement has further enhanced my computer skills, which were originally strengthened through my university classes and my role as a Student Assistant at the College of Business.

Looking ahead, with curiosity and ambition, I aspire to thrive both in Japan and internationally by continuing to explore diverse topics, broadening my potential and pursuing new opportunities.
