Program Details for the Rikkyo COB 1-Day Passport 2025

OBJECTIVE.

We are excited to introduce the Rikkyo College of Business (COB) 1-Day Passport 2025 program.

What is the Rikkyo COB 1-Day Passport?

“Experience the Rikkyo COB!” and “Discover ‘Your Own Leadership’ through Group Work!”

The Rikkyo COB 1-Day Passport 2025 is a trial class experience for high school students, offered by the Rikkyo College of Business. The program focuses on two key concepts: “Experience the Rikkyo COB Classroom!” and “Discover ‘Your Own Leadership’ through Group Work!”.
The event begins with an introduction to the Rikkyo COB in an “Overview of Rikkyo COB and Leadership” session, followed by a “Class Experience” session where participants engage in the Business Leadership Program (BLP), a key program of the COB. The event concludes with a “Group Review”, allowing students to reflect on their learning.

Key Highlights!

1. Firsthand experience of Rikkyo COB’s unique classes and student atmosphere!

The Rikkyo COB 1-day Passport 2025 gives high school students the opportunity to experience classes in the distinctive Rikkyo COB style, with faculty and senior students teaching in teams. On the day of the event, first-year students will conduct the class! Get a firsthand experience of the Rikkyo COB environment!
During breaks between sessions, feel free to chat with university students about the Rikkyo COB and their campus life.

2. Event Operation by Student Staff!

Rikkyo university has a well-established Student Staff system, where students manage and support classes, serving as SAs (Student Assistants) and CAs (Course Assistants). In particular, in the BLP of the Rikkyo COB, SAs and CAs engage in various aspects of class management. For the 1-day passport event, second-year students lead the operations.
The Student Staff not only handle center-staged tasks such as hosting and supporting the event, but also manage behind-the-scenes work, including creating lesson slides and brainstorming ideas for icebreakers. Their contributions are vital to the BLP classes.
Be sure to observe how these second-year students manage and engage throughout the event.

Program Details for the Rikkyo COB 1-Day Passport 2025

1. Overview of Rikkyo COB and Leadership

The program starts with an “Overview of Rikkyo COB and Leadership.” As part of the annual tradition for the 1-day passport event, all participants will engage in icebreaker activities. We're excited to present this year's engaging icebreakers!
As everyone gradually relaxes, the program will introduce the Rikkyo COB learning environment and the Student Staff, who will be the event moderators.
Following this, the Student Staff will explain “Leadership,” and participants will set their leadership goals for the next “Class Experience” session.

2. Class Experience

The Class Experience provides high school students with the opportunity to participate in group-work classes of the Rikkyo COB, where university and high school students work in teams using lesson materials carefully prepared by COB first-year students.
Observe how university students lead the class and demonstrate their teamwork skills.

3. Group Review

Reflection is essential to the Rikkyo COB learning process. High school students will review their group work experiences with university student team members.
By articulating their experiences and insights, they create a positive foundation for applying this knowledge in the future.
