Report on Online Events: High School-University Collaboration Student Project
OBJECTIVE.
The High School-University Collaboration Student Project, also known as “Ko-Pro”, is an official student organization of the College of Business at Rikkyo University. The project aims to inform high school students about Rikkyo University and the COB.
In 2023, the project held two online sessions: “Rikkyo Online”, a counseling session for high school students, on November 4-5 and “Rikkyo Online for General Entrance Examination”, an online consultation for prospective general admission applicants, on December 20-21. During the sessions, COB students shared practical advice based on their academic experiences and lifestyle, covering topics such as study methods, solving past exam questions, English proficiency test scores, how to spend time just before the exams, and maintaining mental health. These online events played a vital role in bridging the information gap between students in urban and rural areas.
A total of 146 participants attended the events over four days. Participants commented such as, “I hope Rikkyo University holds these events more often,” and “I wish I had participated in this event much earlier.” We will continue to create these opportunities regularly to meet those expectations.
